Dr. Katie Penland - Veterinarian, Lead DVM

Dr. Katie Penland has been practicing in the North Georgia area since 2012.

Of that time she has spent 2 years in mixed animal private practice, 6.5 years in small animal exclusive private practice, and most recently 1.5 years in high quality, high volume spay/neuter, and shelter medicine. She has a particular interest in medicine and emergency medicine but also enjoys performing surgery.

In 2014, Dr. Penland became a certified veterinary acupuncturist through the Chi Institute in Florida. She enjoys fast pace days but also loves being able to spend a little extra time when possible with client education and staff training.

Outside of work, Dr. Penland enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
